The event

EUniversity Genoa took place at the University of Genoa’s Albergo dei Poveri on 10 November 2023. Organised by One Hour for Europe in collaboration with the University of Genoa, the event contributed to the European Year of Skills through a mix of conference sessions, practical learning, and youth participation.

My role

I co-organised the event and moderated parts of the programme. The day brought together discussions on digital competence, European citizenship, misinformation, active participation, and the skills young people need to engage with public life and the 2024 European Parliament elections.

Participants also worked on the Genoa Communiqué, a shared outcome capturing ideas and priorities developed during the event. The EurHope campaign added a creative, forward-looking perspective on European participation and hope.
