Storytelling — Discovering the Inner Superhero
A youth-worker exchange in the Italian Alps using storytelling to support identity, self-confidence, and healthier social relationships.
The project
This Erasmus+ mobility for youth workers took place in Candriai, in the mountains near Trento, from 5 to 11 June 2024. It brought together 24 youth workers to exchange innovative storytelling practices. The official project number was 2023-1-IT03-KA151-YOU-000135706.
What I developed
The programme connected narrative techniques with young people’s identity, self-confidence, and social relationships. Activities included the Human Library, active listening, positive communication, exchange of good practice, and the collaborative design of educational methods from preparation through implementation and evaluation.
The result was a set of adaptable non-formal learning approaches for future youth activities and international groups, together with new connections among practitioners from across Europe.
