Seville Language Study Programme — Tudor Language House
A professional group-leadership assignment supporting approximately 100 students during a two-week language-study programme in Seville.
The assignment
From 12 to 26 July 2023, I worked in Seville as a Group Leader for Tudor Language House and San Marino Tourservice. This was a professional language-study assignment rather than an Erasmus+ project.
The programme involved approximately 100 students and a wider on-site management and group-leadership team. My responsibility was to support the students throughout the stay, help the daily programme run smoothly, and provide a dependable point of contact during activities, movements around the city, and shared accommodation life.
What the role required
Working with a group of this size required clear communication, consistency, attention to wellbeing, and close coordination with colleagues. It also meant balancing planned educational and cultural activities with the practical realities of travel, schedules, group dynamics, and unexpected situations.
The experience developed my confidence in large-group supervision and strengthened the operational skills I later continued to use in European learning-mobility assignments.
