Take Off Mobility in Seville — IAL Toscana
A school-tutor assignment supporting a Tuscany Region-funded vocational internship mobility in Seville, Spain.
The mobility
In February 2024, I returned to Seville as a school tutor for Take Off, a transnational vocational-internship initiative financed by the Tuscany Region through the European Social Fund Plus. IAL Toscana organised the mobility with AMT Spain as the local hosting partner.
My role
I accompanied participants during the placement period, helped them understand the programme and their new environment, monitored their internships, and maintained communication with the host organisation. I also supported logistics, documentation, wellbeing, and the resolution of practical issues.
Returning to the same city through a different funding framework was a valuable reminder that successful mobility depends on both local knowledge and careful attention to the rules, objectives, and participant group of each individual project.
