Erasmus+ VET Mobility in Heraklion — IAL Toscana
A school-tutor assignment supporting vocational students during an Erasmus+ internship mobility in Heraklion, Greece.
The mobility
From September to October 2024, I worked as a school tutor for an Erasmus+ vocational-education mobility in Heraklion. The local hosting organisation was MD-Hellas, which coordinated the internship placements and local programme.
My role
I supported students through their arrival, orientation, working routines, and everyday life in Crete. The role combined internship monitoring with communication between participants, IAL Toscana, and the host partner, as well as practical, administrative, and welfare support.
The assignment required steady communication across the full mobility period so that workplace learning, group wellbeing, and programme requirements remained aligned.
