Sharing European opportunities at Merendino High School
An invited school session in Capo d’Orlando on Erasmus+, the European Solidarity Corps, and the opportunities young people can access across Europe.
In May 2022, I was invited by EUROPE DIRECT Nord-est Sicilia to speak with students at Merendino High School in Capo d’Orlando.
The session focused on practical European opportunities for young people. I shared my experience with Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps, explained how international mobility can become a route into learning and participation, and answered students’ questions about getting involved.
The event was part of my activity as an EU Year of Youth Ambassador in 2022: translating European programmes into clear, approachable possibilities for the people who can benefit from them.
